Quick commerce unicorn Zepto has announced the appointment of Rachit Ranjan as its Chief Public Policy Officer, effective May 2025. Ranjan brings over 15 years of experience in public policy, government advisory, legal, and regulatory affairs, with a strong focus on the technology sector.
Prior to joining Zepto, Ranjan held leadership roles at notable firms including Dream11, WhatsApp, JUUL Labs, and Uber.
In his new role, Ranjan will spearhead Zepto&rsquo;s policy, regulatory, and government affairs initiatives. The company stated that his leadership will ensure Zepto&rsquo;s growth remains rooted in trust, transparency, and a sustained commitment to creating socio-economic value for India.
