B2B trade platform Udaan has reported a 65% increase in overall business in 2024, marking its highest-ever daily buyer count. The growth was fueled by a 70% rise in daily buyers and a 250% year-on-year revenue jump for its private label brands.
The company delivered 2.45 billion FMCG units over the year, highlighting its expanding market reach and demand surge.
Higher Repeat Rates and Order Volumes
Udaan processed 85.85 million order lines in 2024, with repeat business 1,000 basis points higher than last year. Monthly repeat ratios exceeded 90%, and buyer wallet share increased by 20%, showcasing strong customer retention.
Profitability and Market Expansion
Udaan is on track for profitability, reporting a 65% annual recurring revenue growth and improved financial metrics, including a 200-basis-point rise in gross margins and a 320-basis-point increase in contribution margins.
The platform also cut absolute EBITDA burn by 30%, focusing on operational efficiency while scaling operations.
Metro and Non-Metro Growth
Demand surged in Bengaluru, Delhi, Hyderabad, and Kolkata, while non-metro cities such as Ghaziabad, Jaipur, Ahmedabad, Lucknow, and Indore witnessed rapid adoption. Pune, Mysore, and Mumbai also emerged as high-growth markets.
