The Honest Home Company, a leading Indian brand in sustainable home and kitchenware, has raised $0.8 million in a Pre-Series A funding round. The investment was led by Ortella Global Capital (OG Capital), co-founded by former IFC executive Sayan Ghosh and consumer industry veteran Gaurav Verma. Renowned entrepreneur and Shark Tank India judge Anupam Mittal also participated in the round, alongside other angel investors.
The funding will be used to scale operations and accelerate the brand&rsquo;s mission of making eco-friendly living more affordable for Indian families. Founded in 2019 by Mayank Sisodia, a former executive at Hindustan Unilever and Parle, The Honest Home Company has been instrumental in promoting sustainable lifestyles in Indian households. To date, the brand has eliminated 250 tonnes of plastic while expanding its product range, which includes air fresheners, bamboo-based goods, and eco-friendly cleaners.
Currently, the company is targeting an annualized run rate of ₹100 crore ($12 million) in 2024. The newly raised capital will be utilized to strengthen its supply chain, expand the product portfolio, and enhance nationwide distribution.

The brand has gained significant traction on major e-commerce platforms, ranking among the top three in its category on Amazon, Zepto, Blinkit, and Flipkart. It also gained national recognition through its appearance on Shark Tank India Season 3 and has received grants from the DBS Foundation.
