Lab-grown diamond jewellery brand Jewelbox has raised $3.2 million in a Pre-Series A funding round led by V3 Ventures, with participation from Atrium Angels, Dexter Ventures, Infinyte Club, and Samarthya Capital. Existing investor JIIF also took part in the round. Dexter Capital Advisors served as the exclusive financial advisor to Jewelbox for the transaction.
Founded in May 2022 by siblings Vidita Kochar Jain and Nipun Kochar, Jewelbox has carved a niche in the sustainable luxury space, offering handcrafted lab-grown diamond jewellery for both daily wear and special occasions. With a growing network of luxury boutiques and a strong e-commerce presence, the brand is rapidly expanding across India.
&ldquo;This milestone investment reaffirms our vision,&rdquo; said Vidita Kochar Jain, Co-founder of Jewelbox. &ldquo;We&rsquo;ve always believed in pioneering the transformation of lab-grown diamonds from niche to mainstream, and this funding fuels our mission further.&rdquo;
The fresh capital will be deployed to accelerate Jewelbox&rsquo;s retail expansion across India through franchise and company-owned outlets, bolster brand presence, and onboard key talent. The startup currently operates eight retail stores in cities including Delhi, Gurgaon, Bengaluru, Chennai, Kolkata, and Guwahati, and aims to expand to 30 stores across major Tier 1 and Tier 2 cities.
Over the past year, Jewelbox has quadrupled its monthly revenue and steadily expanded its physical footprint.
