InCred Finance, the lending arm of the InCred Group, has announced the appointment of Gaurav Maheshwari as Chief Financial Officer (CFO), effective December 16, 2024. The move comes as the company prepares for significant expansion and a planned initial public offering (IPO) in late 2025.
A Seasoned Financial Leader
Gaurav Maheshwari brings over 27 years of financial leadership experience, including a two-decade tenure at Standard Chartered Bank, where he served as Cluster CFO for India and South Asia. His career includes senior roles at Altico Capital, Reuters India, and Coca-Cola India, where he led strategic initiatives and managed large-scale financial operations.
Commenting on the appointment, Bhupinder Singh, Founder and Group CEO of InCred, said:

Preparing for a Landmark IPO
The announcement coincides with InCred Finance&rsquo;s preparations for an IPO scheduled for the last quarter of 2025. The company aims to raise INR 4,000&ndash;5,000 crore (approximately $471&ndash;588 million) through the public offering.
Founded in 2016 by Bhupinder Singh, InCred Finance operates as a non-banking financial company (NBFC) offering personal loans, student loans, MSME loans, and loans against property. Alongside InCred Finance, the InCred Group manages InCred Capital and InCred Money.
Strong Financial Growth
In fiscal year 2024, InCred Group reported robust growth, with revenue from operations rising 48% to INR 1,267 crore. The group also recorded a profit after tax (PAT) of INR 316 crore, underscoring its strong market presence and ability to deliver innovative financial solutions.

InCred Finance is supported by high-profile investors, including Ranjan Pai, KKR, the Abu Dhabi Investment Authority (ADIA), TRS, OAKS, Investcorp, Moore Capital, and Elevar Equity. These investors have expressed confidence in InCred's business model and growth trajectory, further solidifying its position in the financial services sector.
