Glance, an AI-powered smart lock screen platform, has joined forces with edtech unicorn upGrad to provide free upskilling opportunities for young Indians. The collaboration is part of the &ldquo;Glance for Good&rdquo; initiative, leveraging Glance&rsquo;s reach to foster personal growth and drive social change.
Under this partnership, upGrad is offering free courses through its Intern-Zip program directly on Glance Smart Lock Screens. These courses focus on imparting job-ready skills to youth aged 20 to 24, covering essential areas like technical expertise, soft skills, and professional development.
With over 235 million daily users, 47% of whom are under 24 years old, Glance has become a key platform for reaching India&rsquo;s young workforce. Within three weeks of launching the partnership, upGrad&rsquo;s content has garnered over 100 million views (glances) on lock screens.
This initiative aims to address India&rsquo;s 13.4% unemployment rate among graduates by equipping them with skills needed to confidently build their careers.
