Eximius Ventures, a venture capital firm focused on pre-seed investments, has launched its second fund with a target corpus of $30 million. The fund aims to support 25-30 startups in sectors including fintech, artificial intelligence (AI)/software-as-a-service (SaaS), frontier tech, and consumer tech.
Investment Strategy and Initial Investments
Fund II will issue initial cheques of $500,000 per startup and reserve 50% of its corpus for follow-on investments to nurture high-potential portfolio companies. The fund has already invested in four startups across the consumer tech and AI/SaaS sectors, in partnership with other prominent institutional investors.

A Diversified Team and Expertise
The firm is led by Pearl Agarwal and Preeti Sampat, who bring over 25 years of global investment experience. Eximius Ventures' team of eight focuses on specific sectors, enabling them to develop deep insights and identify promising founders and ideas.
The firm&rsquo;s investment committee includes sector experts with over 40 years of combined operating and financial expertise, further bolstering its capacity to support early-stage innovators.
Capital from a Diverse Mix of LPs
Building on the success of its $10 million inaugural fund launched in 2021, Fund II will raise capital from a diverse pool of limited partners, including high-net-worth individuals (HNIs), family offices, founder-investors, and global Japanese corporate venture companies (CVCs).
