Delhi-based digital spirituality platform Bhagva has raised $1 million in a pre-Series A funding round led by Australian investor Pradeep Nain, with participation from other undisclosed investors. The funding will be utilized to enhance Bhagva&rsquo;s technological infrastructure and streamline its operations, as it aims to deliver a more seamless spiritual experience to its expanding user base.
Founded in 2022 by Jagriti Motwani, Bhagva offers a full-stack digital platform that blends traditional Indian spirituality with modern convenience. The platform provides a range of services including online and offline pooja bookings, pandit scheduling, daily Panchang readings, horoscope-based guidance, and jaap (chanting) sessions&mdash;available via both mobile and web platforms.
Bhagva enters a fast-growing space alongside players like Astrotalk, AppsForBharat, Vama.app, and InstaAstro, as demand rises for tech-enabled spiritual services across India.
In addition to its core offerings, Bhagva stands out for its focus on empowering women and underrepresented communities. The startup integrates these groups into its supply chain and offers vocational training for creating pooja-related items such as agarbattis, solar diyas, and handcrafted spiritual artifacts.
