Bengaluru-based deeptech startup ANSCER Robotics has raised $2 million in a seed funding round led by Info Edge Ventures. The fresh capital will be utilized to expand into new geographies and develop new product lines.
Founded in 2020 by Ribin Mathew, Ebin Sunny, Raghu Venkatesh, and Brijesh CA, ANSCER Robotics specializes in autonomous mobile robots (AMRs) designed for warehouses, manufacturing plants, and logistics centers. The company claims to have deployed AMRs at the facilities of 15 enterprise customers across the US, India, Singapore, and Japan. Its product lineup includes pallet movers, tuggers, conveyors, and lifters with payload capacities of up to 2 tonnes.

The funding comes amid increased government support for India&rsquo;s deeptech sector. In the Union Budget 2025-26, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman announced that the government is considering launching a deeptech fund of funds (FoF) to support capital-intensive sectors such as robotics, electric vehicles (EVs), rocket engines, nanotechnology, semiconductors, and artificial intelligence (AI).
Investor interest in deeptech is also on the rise. In January 2024, early-stage venture capital firm Riceberg Ventures launched a $20 million fund focused on deeptech startups. According to Inc42, the deeptech sector saw 73 deals amounting to over $460 million in 2024, making it one of the most funded domains of the year.
