Homegrown menswear brand Snitch, founded by Siddharth Dungarwal, has crossed ₹100 crore in annual revenue and is now targeting ₹500 crore by FY2025. The brand&rsquo;s explosive post-pandemic growth is attributed to its direct-to-consumer (D2C)-first strategy, agile design cycles, and a youth-centric digital approach.
Launched in 2019 as a B2B apparel supplier, Snitch made a strategic pivot to D2C during the COVID-19 lockdown in mid-2020. &ldquo;We lost 100% of our revenue overnight. With unsold inventory and a team of four, we launched our D2C line via Shopify,&rdquo; said Dungarwal.
Since the pivot, Snitch has built a reputation for its hyper-fast fashion model, introducing over 35 new styles daily and more than 1,000 monthly &mdash; all tailored for Indian body types and preferences. The brand currently operates over 35 retail stores across India and aims to scale up to 100 outlets by 2025.
Snitch is also gearing up for international expansion, with plans to enter key markets including the Middle East, UK, and US.
Driving the brand&rsquo;s growth is a digital-native team, with its in-house marketing crew &mdash; all under the age of 25 &mdash; spearheading a content strategy that prioritizes community engagement and platform virality.
&ldquo;Zara and Shein didn&rsquo;t come from India. We believe India can create the next global fashion powerhouse,&rdquo; said Dungarwal.
Combining rapid design innovation, in-house production capabilities, an omnichannel footprint, and cultural relevance, Snitch is positioning itself as a formidable force in India&rsquo;s new-age fashion landscape.
