Solar solutions provider Jupiter International Ltd has announced a significant investment of ₹500 crore from ValueQuest SCALE Fund and its affiliates to accelerate the expansion of its solar manufacturing capabilities.
The funding will support Jupiter&rsquo;s capital expenditure programme, which includes scaling up its existing 1 GW solar cell manufacturing facility in Baddi, Himachal Pradesh. The company plans to ramp up its total capacity to 5.6 GW of solar cells and 2.4 GW of solar modules, reinforcing its position in India's clean energy sector.
Jupiter International, a manufacturer of photovoltaic solar cells and a provider of end-to-end solar power solutions, stated that this investment, along with internal accruals, will play a key role in driving its future growth.
