Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL) has partnered with Tata Motors to launch a co-branded Diesel Exhaust Fluid (DEF) called &lsquo;Genuine DEF.&rsquo; The product will be available across HPCL&rsquo;s 23,000 fuel stations nationwide and at over 2,000 authorized Tata Motors outlets.
The high-quality DEF solution is designed to enhance vehicle performance, improve drivetrain efficiency, and extend vehicle longevity while ensuring compliance with Bharat Stage VI (BSVI) emission norms.
Amit Garg, Director of Marketing at HPCL, highlighted the partnership as a key initiative in reducing emissions and promoting cleaner transportation solutions. &ldquo;Our collaboration with Tata Motors for co-branded Diesel Exhaust Fluid is a significant step toward sustainable mobility,&rdquo; he stated.
DEF is essential for modern diesel vehicles, helping break down harmful nitrogen oxides into harmless nitrogen and water, thereby reducing emissions. Girish Wagh, Executive Director at Tata Motors, emphasized that the partnership will provide Tata Motors customers with greater accessibility to high-quality DEF, ensuring optimal performance and environmental compliance.
With this initiative, HPCL and Tata Motors aim to support India&rsquo;s transition towards cleaner fuel solutions while offering customers a reliable and efficient DEF option.
