360 ONE Asset, the asset management arm of 360 ONE WAM, has launched a ₹500 crore ($60 million) early-stage venture capital fund, marking a strategic expansion into India&rsquo;s thriving startup ecosystem. The fund is part of the firm&rsquo;s larger ₹25,000 crore private equity platform.
The sector-agnostic fund will target high-growth domains including consumer tech, fintech infrastructure, generative AI, spacetech, defence, and advanced manufacturing. It aims to bridge the gap between micro-VCs and large global funds by investing from the first institutional round through to growth stages, with a high-ownership, board-level involvement.
Led by Abhishek Nag&mdash;formerly of Meta and Uber, now Senior Fund Manager and Strategy Head for Early-Stage VC at 360 ONE Asset&mdash;the initiative is built around a disciplined investment process, long-term capital support, and defined value creation and exit strategies.
&ldquo;We aim to bridge the white space between India&rsquo;s robust micro-VC ecosystem and large global funds&mdash;by backing founders early and supporting them with patient, long-term capital throughout their growth journey,&rdquo; said Nag.
The fund has already backed four startups:
● A hybrid-casual gaming company with 10M+ downloads in India,
● A hot sauce brand exporting Indian flavors,
● A SaaS firm offering "mutual fund AMC in a box", and
● A spacetech startup working on indigenous SAR technology in collaboration with ISRO talent.
360 ONE Asset boasts a proprietary deal pipeline built through a network of over 7,000 founders and domain experts. It will also offer co-investment opportunities to strategic partners and LPs.
The fund&rsquo;s advisory board includes industry veterans such as Bluestone founder Gaurav Kushwaha, Publicis Sapient CEO Nigel Vaz, Better Capital founder Vaibhav Domkundwar, and Ashwin Mittal, Executive Chairman of C5i.
